- It was one of the few things in life that the only choice was mine. And I’m sure that’s what I want. I always have the help of my family, but in this case it was a personal choice. My father wants the best for us and did not interfere in anything. It was the right choice. One thing I did with heart. When choices are made with the heart, no matter either do poorly or well. What matters is what is right for me.

- From childhood, I dreamed of wearing the shirt of the Brazilian national team, and when I saw that there was a possibility, grabbed her and not let go, even though I was featured of the Spanish team, which has a very good group. My dream was always to the Brazilian national team and I am very happy to bring it about.

- If I had to choose one word for my debut as a starter, it would be “unforgettable.” To me, it’s a childhood dream to wear this shirt and see this dream come true is wonderful.

In Spain, the choice of Rafinha to play for Brazil was not well accepted.

- They were a little upset, which is normal. Any country likes to lose players. But coach supported me later.
