Mazinho’s second son Rafinha called up by Spain

The definition decision still seems far away, but a new chapter on the future of the youngest son of former Paraibano player,  Mazinho emerged on Monday (10). The half Rafinha Alcantara, 18, was convened by the Spanish under-19 selection for a training period in the Ciudad Deportiva Las Rozas in Madrid.

Like his brother Thiago, he defends Barcelona - below a category of professionals. The difference is in the heart: Rafinha, born in Sao Paulo, has already shown a desire to defend the Brazilian national team and, in principle, does not want to follow in the footsteps of midfielder [his brother] in La Roja.

”Rafinha is eager to play the Brazilian team. It is normal, all Brazilian players are so inclined. But until the call, there is nothing definite, “said Mazinho, who began his career in football defending the colors of Santa Cruz in Santa Rita.
